Provide Information:

ok sorry i added the terminal info.

There’s no driver to communicate with your RAID RAID controller.

Your RAID is a SAS device and AFAIK, mhwd currently only supports automatic hardware detection and driver installation for PCIe and USB devices.

Upon inspection on “Broadcom / LSI MegaRAID SAS 2008”, it’s a RAID controller and also a PCIe device and you should try mhwd to check if your RAID controller is supported out-of-the-box by Manjaro. Otherwise, check the vendor website if they provide their RAID controller product a driver for Linux.

After driver installation, check again if your SAS RAID is detected by fdisk -l.

mhwd did not grab and drivers for the carded so i went to look for drivers from broadcom. they have linux drivers but manjaro doesnt seem to be on there supported list. is there anything i can do

thank you for the aur links. im having trouble building lsi - msm but i think i should go to their forums for that.
