Flatpak: Unacceptable TLS certificate

Hey guys,

Performed a clean install of the latest stable GNOME release and Flatpak is unusable because flathub is being refused a TLS certificate. I stepped up into the testing branch and it began working for a while, but now neither stable nor testing branches will permit flathub installs. I’m new on here, so cannot embed screenshot - but running;
‘flatpak install flathub com.calibre_ebook.calibre’ gives me:
Looking for matches…
error: Unable to load summary from remote flathub: Unacceptable TLS certificate

This behaviour occurs with flatpak enabled via pamac btw, of course.

EDIT: Reinstalled flatpak and then enabled flathub via: “flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo” fixes the issue. But the problem existed on the clean install, so you might want to still look into it in case anyone else is having problems.

Hello Slaymo,

I’m a newbie in Manjaro/Arch Linux and I have the same problem with “Unacceptable TLS certificate” and make this to trie resolve:

sudo packman -Syu flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub [https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo ](https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo)

and make install Discord

sudo flatpak install flathub com.discordapp.Discord

But the problem persist. Have any ideia to solve this?

For pamac you install flatpak libpamac-flatpak-plugin.
