Bluetooth won't turn on in Manjaro Plasma

Bluetooth wasn’t working correctly and I went to restart it using the bluetooth icon on the panel, and when I turn it on, visually it says it’s on, but the icon on the panel is in constent loading and I can’t connect to or add new devices. I’ve tried restarting the services via commands but that didn’t seem to do anything.

Since I have use a bluetooth adapter via usb, I just unplugged it and plugged it back in, but I still don’t want this everytime this happens, so if someone knows how to fix this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

:+1: Welcome to Manjaro! :+1:

  1. Please read this:
    [HowTo] Provide System Information
and press the three dots below your post and press the :pencil2: to give us more information so we can see what’s really going on.
Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…
  2. An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information for us to be able to help you. (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
Also, please copy-paste that output in-between 3 backticks ``` at the beginning and end of the code/text.

Thank you, I have updated the post with the information, I hope it works.

well i had myself more trouble than enough with bluetooth and manjaro in the latest version. i flipped to a different distro because of that. what i experienced is that kernel-versions above 5.4 will cause trouble with bluetooth and i can’t see any solution for me other than to wait that it get fixed with a better bluetooth management. you can try to downgrade to a older kernel version and see what happens.
