My Cintiq 13hd stopped displaying when I intsalled proper graphics drivers

Recently I installed my graphics driver on Linux for games and whatnot, a Nvidia 430xx series to be specific, and prior to the install my tablet displayed and mirrored the screen on my computer with the pressure sensitivity working and everything. now it just lights up in black and works but doesn't show my monitor. It's not the end of the world but I would like to see my Cintiq used as a monitor.

Does the Cintiq wok in a live environment or a different OS ? What have yo tested ?

Unless is a physical issue as i had with my Cintiq22HD. 5 capacitors got blown up on it and had to be replaced...
If your Cintiq works and only in XFCE you have this issue, then we are good to go and try a few things.

Same as mine, but now i have to point out something:

It shows only one connected display. Is the Cintiq the only display connected? Because if you have two, then the inxi should show them both, like this:

unless, as i pointed out, the cintiq is physically damaged.

yeah the Cintiq is not shown as connected in the display options but it still works. I have not tested it on any other PCS or OS but the only thing I did to the cintiq was install the one driver so I doubt it is damaged.
Do you think reinstalling anything would fix these issues?

The Stylus input works trough USB and can be functional while the display part of it is broken. Is that what you define as "it works" or is that you also see the desktop?

Boot from Live Media install and test. If it turns on the display part of it, then you are safe.

Alright, the problem was the HDMI input was in the wrong place. It worked prior to the install but I think that's because it wanted me to have it directly into the Nvidia.
Switching them around did fix it thank you.
