My bluetooth not show any near devices

my laptop bluetooth not show any nearby devices. it search endless.
my bluetooth device is 802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.0 Combo

I had the exact bluetooth card and it didnt detect devices

This worked for me.

basically you have to clone it using: git clone https://github.com/winterheart/broadcom-bt-firmware.git
Then cd broadcom-bt-firmware/brcm

Then sudo cp BCM43142A0-0a5c-216d.hcd /lib/firmware/brcm
Then reboot

no. i am not get any error.

bluetooth is connected but not working properly. I have connected my device but the sound is coming intermittently
