Mouse middle click

how to configure middle click of mouse in manjaro gnome?
i want to configure it like windows which autoscrolls. Like when we click the middle button and move the mouse up and down, the page scrolls automatically

any way to do that?
can’t find anything as such in settings

thanks.

That would be nothing exclusive and special to Manjaro Gnome - likely not even to Gnome itself.
(all Gnomes are equal … :grinning: )

There are a lot of Gnome extensions, … extending the options that are available to be configured via GUI by default.

There definitely are ways to configure that - very likely different for whether you run Gnome under Xorg or under wayland.

dconf-editor might provide an interface to do what you want - but it’s not a simple GUI to adjust settings
Have a look at it and see for yourself.

I know there was such a setting in the Firefox browser - but that would be confined to that one application.
For every application - I don’t know - it’s even more complicated because you can use Plasma apps in Gnome, too - but their configuration method is likely very different.

okayy
thanks
