Missing menu for all windows after stable update

Failed to unregister window menu, reason: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply ("Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.")

krusader launch monitoring example:

string "type='signal',sender='org.freedesktop.DBus',interface='org.freedesktop.DBus',member='NameOwnerChanged',arg0='com.canonical.AppMenu.Registrar'"

method call time=1646139668.650721 sender=:1.146 -> destination=org.freedesktop.DBus serial=31 path=/org/freedesktop/DBus; interface=org.freedesktop.DBus; member=GetNa
meOwner

   string "com.canonical.AppMenu.Registrar"

method return time=1646139668.650739 sender=org.freedesktop.DBus -> destination=:1.146 serial=6 reply_serial=31

   string ":1.7"

method call time=1646139668.650913 sender=:1.146 -> destination=com.canonical.AppMenu.Registrar serial=32 path=/com/canonical/AppMenu/Registrar; interface=com.canonica
l.AppMenu.Registrar; member=RegisterWindow

   uint32 125829135

   object path "/MenuBar/1"

The launch hangs for a long time and then there are messages that there is no dbus response regarding the window menu.

There is still no keyboard layout icon (widget) in the panel. And not all custom key combinations work. I created a new user and everything works in his session. But I don’t want to delete the previous user, there are too many of my settings and applications.

Yes, I almost forgot. After the update, the desktop had all the folders from /home/user/. But I removed the icons by setting the view of the desktop widget as a directory.

Reinstalled all packages plasma and kde.Including theme. and did an integrity check on all package files in the system pacman -Qk. The problem hasn’t been resolved yet.
Transfer .config .local .cache from a new user with a change of rights, as expected, the matter does not change.
Also noticed a long loading of the night mode page in the system settings, with an error that it was not found GPSD. and also pages of custom keyboard shortcuts, error not received from dbus org.kde.khotkeys.

I have a very similar issue.

You can find my report at this post:

Have you found any solution? (My custom keyboard shortcuts are also not working like you said above).

I solved the problem like this: I created a new user, made a backup of the old user’s folder and deleted the user with the home directory. Then I created a new user with the same name, added it to the same groups. And moved important files from the backup. The main thing is not to completely copy .config, .local, .kde4 , .cache. Move only those files that are really important to you.

Also check all packages in the system. Create and execute a script. It will create a list of packages with missing files. Then you can reinstall these packages.

for i in `sudo pacman -Qqe`;
do
package=`sudo pacman -Qk $i`
status=`echo $package|cut -d ' ' -f5-`
good='0 файлов не хватает'
#files are missing -for english)
#echo "$status-----$good"
if [[ "$status" != "$good" ]]
then
echo "$i -caution!"
echo "$i" >> badpackages.txt
else
echo "good"
fi
done
