Missing AUR Packages: linux56

How do I get rid of this notification in yay? It was among some other orphans which I was able to clean up but it still stuck around. Then I tried to remove it but got this:

removing linux56 breaks dependency 'linux>=3.4' required by manjaro-system

Install and reboot into a newer kernel. :stuck_out_tongue:

Then uninstall linux56 (which has been EOL for a while).

The 5.6 Linux kernel has been EOL (End Of Life) for quite awhile now and is no longer in the repos. Since it’s the only kernel you have installed, you’ll need to install another kernel first. Open Manjaro Settings > Kernel and install either 5.4 LTS (Long Term Support) or 5.8 (latest stable). After you reboot you can remove 5.6 the same way.
