Microphone volume low and mutes automatically

Hello,

I have recently been facing an issue where my mic automatically mutes while speaking and for some reason the default mic volume is also very low. The mic works fine on windows. I am on the latest stable branch.

I am not sure what data to provide here to diagnose this issue, so please let me know the type of information that you require.

    Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies… :grin:
  2. An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information for us to be able to help you. (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)

    • Does it also happen in arecord?
