Microphone not working with power_save off

well thats unfortunate, that tsched=0 is a fix for your specific hardware: ‘Intel 82801JI’ - at least according to other people on forums, who had the same issue…
you could install the 5.17 kernel, reboot, select it in the grub menu and test with it…

Do I install 5.17.1_rt17-3 or 5.17.9-1 kernel? And how do I get into the grub menu

the 5.17.9-1 … if the grub menu doesnt appear when youre booting your computer, run this:
kate /etc/default/grub
and change this line to look like this: GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=menu
then save the file, and run this command:
sudo update-grub
reboot and in the gurbs advanced options select the 5.17 kernel

Okay, I installed 5.17.9-1 kernel, and it automatically changed to it after reboot. I still have the pop sound though(I removed tsched=0) from pulseaudio config

i really have no idea… you could try again installing pipewire, reboot and test pipewire under the newer 5.17 kernel…

Nope, pipewire didn’t help, both with wireplumber and pipewire media session, power save 0 is still the same, arecord just hangs with it. This pop sound is actually driving me crazy already
