Microphone Jack not working

Hey everyone,

After using my internal laptop mic I decided to get a cool attachable mic for my headphones which connects via 3.5mm input. However, input settings only show “Internal Microphone” Or “Microphone (unplugged)”. Testing “Internal Microphone” in discord confirmed to me that this indeed was the internal microphone. After some research I tried the solution in mic-from-jack-not-working/111444 that stated to install pipewire with sudo pacman -Ru --nodeps pulseaudio pulseaudio-equalizer pulseaudio-jack pulseaudio-lirc pulseaudio-rtp pulseaudio-zeroconf pulseaudio-bluetooth pulseaudio-pa pulseaudio-alsa pulseaudio-ctl manjaro-pulse && sudo pacman -S manjaro-pipewire. However, no change. I then tried the first proposed solution by reinstalling manjaro-pulse and now I don’t have any sound :sweat_smile:. Interestingly enough, speaker-test does work in my headphones. However, trying to use the headphone tester in System Settings shows this:

I should state that I’m on a dual-booting system, and the microphone works fine on Windows 11

Switching back to pipewire brought sound back, but still no input from the new mic (Built-in)
