Mic not detected on usb ports nor in the system

Hey,
My usb-microphone isn’t detected, I’ve tried solving this issue by using chatgpt but we failed
It’s been 2 months already and i still can’t fix the issue on my own.
My first time using linux hasn’t been very pleasant to say the least…

Here is some data:

[visual@visual-manjaro ~]$ arecord -l

If arecord -l has output, those are your “mics”. From your output those two are from your internal sound card with 3.5mm port. Try alsamixer then press F4 to move to capture tab. Do you see any? Also, you mentioned USB in the title, but I don’t see any. If you do use one, it should pop up in either lsusb and/or dmesg like this:

lsusb:

Bus 001 Device 007: ID 17a0:0303 Samson Technologies Corp. C01U Pro condenser microphone

dmesg:

[ 3.271493] usb 1-4: Product: Samson C01U Pro Mic
[ 3.271496] usb 1-4: Manufacturer: Samson Technologies
[ 5.524005] input: Samson Technologies Samson C01U Pro Mic as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb1/1-4/1-4:1.3/0003:17A0:0303.0003/input/input15

inxi usually shows internal audio devices from lspci and USB devices from lsusb, so
checking lsusb would probably not find USB audio device

If there is no sign of life in lsusb for a USB device, the device is probably End Of Life
