Message during startup and shutdown

hey guys i am using manjaro KDE, i just did a clean install an hour ago

but i have noticed that during startup as well as shutdown/restart a message appears on the black screen saying something like

/dev/sda2:clean,367881/6103080 Files, 7855110/244113676 blocks

can i do something or do i have to live with it??

That’s only a status message resulting from the filesystem integrity check at boot, not an error message. I wouldn’t worry about that if I were you.

Is it hard or too annoying to live with it?
It’s just a status message.
But it can be hidden.
Don’t know off the top of my head how.
There are threads about this here on the forum.
The solution is somewhere in the Arch wiki.
You’ll probably find it through google …

Hi KDE,
i am using for a longer time Manjaro and have never seen such a filesystem status message in the older installations. Today I installed a NVMe SSD with a new install image ( 21.02) and see also the filesystem message, so something must be changed in the install image.
So yes it was only a “cosmetic” problem but it should not be there. I hope that this was fixed in the next releases to get a “cosmetic right” system without this message out of the box.
Should this be reported to the devs ?

The devs already know about this, because it has already been reported here at the forum a gazillion times. :stuck_out_tongue:

ups… sorry. I have not do a search about that in the forum. :see_no_evil:

But nice to hear that this little problem maybe will be fixed…
