Mesa-defaults.conf file. Can i delete it and will it be recreated?

I know it’s a silly question but i edited the File /usr/share/drirc.d/00-mesa-defaults.conf to blacklist Elden Ring since it would give me some odd Flickering with Freesync. However i didn’t back up the file before and now i wonder how i might get back to the default conf. Any clue?

Reinstall mesa and the file will be restored. If you edit it, note that every time mesa is updated it will be overwritten.

Thank you. What’s the best way to reinstall? Just uninstalling using pacman and installing again?

No need to uninstall, just install it like anything other program and it will be reinstalled:

pamac install mesa

or

sudo pacman -S mesa
