I was trying to install Samba to share files with my Mac over my LAN but gave up as it was proving to be too complicated. I’ve since deleted what I’ve installed for Samba.
Since then I haven’t been able to shutdown or reboot, when I initiate the process either through the GUI or using systemctl
in the terminal it shows some error messages and then just hangs.
Here is the output from inxi

Would appreciate the help on this. At the moment I’m just manually turning the laptop off by holding the power button for about 15 seconds which I appreciate is not good for the computer.
UPDATE: Have also just noticed that the sound is also not working now. Could it be to do with the latest Manjaro update?
