Trying to connect to my Pixel 3 XL (Android 12 build SP1A.210812.015) hotspot, Manjaro KDE (fully updated)(on my ThinkPad e540) NetworkManager says “Waiting for authorization” for a couple minutes, clearly doesn’t connect, and finally says simply “Never used”.
The ThinkPad wifi seems fine, it can connect to various broadband modems.
i’m wondering if this is happening because perhaps Manjaro wifi software has more recently decommissioned some weaker protocols that my other connections are still blissfully using. for example i can connect my Kindle Fire (HD 3rd Gen 2013 with Evervolv rom) to my (Pixel 3 Android 12) hotspot just fine.
