Manjaro won't boot, black screen of death?

Hi, opened my laptop and it was frozen. The browser funilly worked (it was open at the time). But start menu and anything else didn’t.

I had to reboot manually and when I try to boot I get a blank screen with this:

Mount: /nre_root: can’t read super lock on /dev/sda2.
You are now being dropped into an emergency shell.
sh: can’t access try; job control turned off
[rootfs ]#

I’ve seen some solutions online for similar problems that involve a boot media, but I’m now in isolation at home (thanks COVID) and I don’t think I can get my hands on one. I need my computer for work. Suggestions??

Hello @RossR

Thats means, that the filesystem of your root partition /dev/sda2 is damaged and could not be harmless recovered at boot time. You need to repair it manually now.
