Manjaro Won't Auto-Sleep

Hello friends. I have a minor nuisance of a problem that I was kinda hoping would resolve itself after some kernel or driver update, but it’s been a number of months now and it’s still here so I’m asking for help. Sorry if this is a bit scattered, I’m trying to include whatever relevant info I can.

My computer cannot put itself into sleep mode. It works just fine if I tell it to sleep, but when I leave it inactive it can’t do it. Usually it seems to go to sleep and then instantly wake itself again, but other times not even that will happen and it will just stay on forever. Sometimes after a “flicker”, a floating application window on my second monitor will have been moved to the top of the screen, or my second monitor will no longer have a desktop background (just black) but fix itself after a few seconds.

My current settings are to dim the screen after 3 minutes, and enter sleep at 4 minutes. I’ve tried various ways of changing this and nothing worked there.

I tried journalctl --since "2 min ago" --grep=sleep right after one of these flickers and I get

Apr 01 14:06:57 kitt-sys kernel: ACPI: PM: Waking up from system sleep state S3
Apr 01 14:06:57 kitt-sys systemd-sleep[18688]: System returned from sleep operation 'suspend'.
Apr 01 14:06:58 kitt-sys systemd[1]: Stopped target Sleep.
Apr 01 14:06:58 kitt-sys ModemManager[973]: <msg> [sleep-monitor-systemd] system is resuming
Apr 01 14:06:58 kitt-sys NetworkManager[793]: <info> [1711994818.6145] manager: sleep: wake requested (sleeping: yes enabled: yes)
Apr 01 14:06:58 kitt-sys NetworkManager[793]: <info>  [1711994818.6146] device (enp5s0): state change: activated -> unmanaged (reason 'sleeping', sys-iface-state: 'managed')

this is not a hardware issue as I don’t have any other input issues with my peripherals, and this is not a problem on my windows boot

and here is the full output of inxi -v8azy
