I have a similar problem with latest update and kernel 5.15.13-1. It prompts to ‘Replace hwids with core/hwdata?’ but fails whether you answer yes or no.

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.15.13-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 6 × Intel® Core™ i5-8500T CPU @ 2.10GHz
Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 630

so i hope someone can help us with that

There’s a systemd update in the works. Link

I have the same problem. Manjaro KDE Unstable Edition:

Of course, I didn’t go through with the update.

There’s just been a new update which has fixed things for me, so I recommend trying again. Also I upgraded to 5.16 and so far that seems to have gone without problems.

Thank you.

Issue has nothing to do with the kernel. A fixed systemd package should solve this matter.
