whenever i do put it in skel it tells no such file or directory and tells failed to install packages to new root
Skel doesn’t work like that think of it as your home folder so the icon folder is .icons if you want /usr/share/icons you make /usr/share/icons/ folder structure in desktop-overlay but outside the skel folder.
