Manjaro-Tools Maintenance list of packages (iso-profiles)

I’ve always used manjaro-tools (buildiso) but for some time now nothing wants to make it work why?

Thanks for the suggestions

I’m guessing it has something to do with the URL it’s trying to use. I know matray also used it and that’s not working, since AFAIK the server for that URL no longer exists.

So try using/configuring it to use a different URL.

As referenced by @NGr you should edit the configuration found in

~/.config/manjaro-tools/manjaro-tools.conf

If you don’t have the file - copy from /etc/manjaro-tools

cp -r -i /etc/manjaro-tools ~/.config

First I apologize for my bad English already known by some here, everything comes from (google translate).

Thanks for the “tip”, as soon as I redo the installations of my 2 HDD’s that I thought of deleting after the old donkey, grateful

Excuse me as I answered above I messed up with archlinux and managed to erase my 2 HDD I am redoing the installations right now but I will remove the image in violation of the posting rules, again sorry @Yochanan

Neither of those mirrors appear to exist anymore. The thread I linked to had the answer, switch to
https://mirrors.manjaro.org/repo in your tools configuration

I read it now, but it’s for the documentation of those who may experience the problem, thank you very much @NGr Buildiso cant fetch packages from https://manjaro.moson.eu - #9 by linux-aarhus

And of course thank’s @linux-aarhus

The problem now is:

warning: sof-firmware-2.2.2-1 is up to date -- reinstalling
error: target not found: manjaro-documentation-en
warning: zlib-1:1.2.13-2 is up to date -- reinstalling

You need to pull the latest changes and/or edit the file Packages-Desktop

 no the tools are not broken - your configuration and package list needs maintenance

You can use this snippet in your manjaro-tools.conf instead the url to the build_mirror

Translation
Você pode usar este trecho em seu manjaro-tools.conf em vez da url para o build_mirror

It has always been the intention to allow the iso builder to change the buildmirror.

This can be any active mirror from the mirror pool - but some will be better than others depending on the host and the location of the user.

Translation
Sempre foi a intenção permitir que o construtor iso altere o buildmirror.

Pode ser qualquer espelho ativo do pool de espelhos - mas alguns serão melhores que outros, dependendo do host e da localização do usuário.

The snippet parses the first mirror from your currrent mirrorlist and assign the result as the build_mirror to be used.

Then you don’t have to ever worry about your build_mirror

Translation
O trecho analisa o primeiro espelho de sua lista de espelhos atual e atribui o resultado como o build_mirror a ser usado.

Então você não precisa se preocupar com seu build_mirror

You are “one” of the best Linux professors I’ve had during these 15 or 18 years of using Linux, thanks Teacher @linux-aarhus

I really appreciate the label - that is exactly what I try to do - educate - I am not perfect - nor am I a professor - just an advanced student
