You might have the similar problem:

PS: I didn’t read all the way through.

the issue can be kms, plymouth and other things. You can try to disable it by removing quiet and splash from /etc/default/grub followed by sudo update-grub.

Did you suggest i remove them one by one, or all at same time?..Thanks in advance…

Some info about it: Easy Linux Tips Project: Grub options: some explanations

Thanks!
PD: I can suspend, and restart ok…the issue is about shutdown only

Ok, thanks…i’ve read the suggested info, then the AND is in logic sense, thanks again!!!

Good morning, i have one question: which consequences can i get by removing quiet and splash from grub…beyond see the system initial load screen ?? Thanks in advance

No ill effect. You just see logging printed to screen instead of a pretty boot screen. I prefer the look of the logging, so I always run without quiet splash.

If you wish to uninstall Plymouth completely, the correct procedure can be found in the Manjaro Wiki Plymouth article, under the heading of REMOVAL.

It is more involved than a typical package removal, however, is not overly difficult. I hope this helps. Cheers.

Thanks by clarifying!!!
