Manjaro-settings-manager prevents updating because of ICU version 2023/7/26

It seems to be the same issue with Manjaro-settings-manager prevents updating because of ICU version. After upgrading with ignoring icu in /etc/pacman.conf, now I can’t even open Vim and other software, so I don’t dare to reboot now.

Here is the output with sudo pacman -S icu. I believe a translation software will let you understand the situation.

It appears your mirror(s) are not up to date. Please see Pacman-mirrors - Manjaro

Still the same issue after trying out those commands.

Solved after changing to the official repo, but I’ve got some other dependencies that also have the same issue.

As opposed to what?

Such as?

I’m guessing you’re using a third-party repo which is not supported.

Maybe he is forced by the Great (Internet) Wall to use unofficial repos…who knows. :person_shrugging:

There are multiple official chinese mirrors…

Yeah, just saw that. But some of them are not synced for more than 2 weeks…actually non of the chinese mirrors is really synced. I guess inspecting everything takes time.
