Manjaro on a Thinkpad X1 Tablet

In Reference to this Reddit post:

I am now the proud owner of a Thinkpad X1 Tablet 3rd Gen and I’m chomping at the bit to do two things…

  1. Replace the existing 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD with a 1Tb M.2 NVMe SSD

2.) Get filthy Windows off it and install the latest Manjaro KDE

Grateful for any comments as to how the current Manjaro KDE edition with the newer Linux Kernels that alleviate some or all of the issues pointed out by the poster in the above post? Also appreciate any other thoughts in this regard.

Thanks in advance

Just give it a try and boot with the latest live ISO :man_shrugging:

I’m not sure about x1 generation 3 but I have manjaro running on both 6th gen and 9th gen x1 with zero problems. (I also had a gen 4 with gentoo on it.) These are wonderful machines that love linux.
