Manjaro not booting - Dual Boot SSD UEFI - Notebook hybrid GPU

After installing Windows (SSD too), i immediately installed manjaro and APPARENTLY the grub + dual boot everything was working fine! I installed manjaro normally (SSD with root, swap and home in HDD), but instead of creating a new /boot/efi partition, I used the windows /boot/efi partition, setting the /boot/efi flag on it when installing the manjaro, which i think is more correct.

After restarting, i can choose between windows or manjaro normally as planned!

Windows now works perfectly, but manjaro crashes when loading (keeps loading infinitely after the “Started TLP system startup / shudown” log)

After that, i realized that the name of the boot (in the boot list of BIOS) it’s blank, in the first moment was “null string” haha, and after one reboot, it’s just blank…

I tried to disable fast boot, and i already tried too boot with my usb pendrive, and tried with the non free driver too, but… Nothing. Sometimes it works and starts manjaro, but my keyboard and mouse does not work! It’s very strange.

I already tried to press E in grub and edit modprobe.nomodeset setting the 0 value, and nothing (tried this only with live usb)

I use a notebook Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43-R4C3 with AMD Ryzen 7 3750H CPU (it has an Integrated Video Card “Vega”) and Nvidia GTX 1650 GPU (dedicated card), 1TB HDD and 128GB SSD

Do you guys know something that i can do now?

1 - Maybe this issue it’s because of my graphic card… A conflict with the CPU integrated GPU (Ryzen 7 3750H has an vega GPU integrated) :frowning:

2 - Maybe it’s because my home it’s on HDD and not SSD. I saw in a topic that the user solved this issue switching HD SATA to AHCI on BIOS…

3 - Maybe it’s because of my kernel version? That maybe doesn’t support amd integrated gpu + nvidia dedicated gpu

I found 4 links that looks to be a nice try. I will try that now:

1 - https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/f79trt/how_to_setup_a_ryzen_laptop_with_an_nvidia_gpu/

2 - https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/aoh5be/guide_hybrid_graphics_on_linux_nvidia_optimus/

3 - Unable to install Ubuntu in my NITRO AN512-42 — Acer Community

4 - Linux Mint - Community

PS: I can login with tty

Tried to add blacklists lines to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf ( i created this file)
blacklist nouveau
blacklist nvidiafb
blacklist rivafb

And the same problem…

When i run mhwd -li, show me that i have only the video-linux driver installed

Do i have to do that? :
1 - sudo mhwd -r pci video-linux

2 - sudo mhwd -a nonfree 0300

Result of commands:

1 - sudo dmesg | grep gpu:

Now i lost my manjaro grub and i can’t boot manjaro with my live usb, it’s freezing at the same moment, and when i use live usb but changing to use the nonfree driver, my screen appear all messed up, full of pink, white pixels and you can’t see anything, it’s like the screen has completely broken!

Finally! Success! Now i have dual boot with windows and manjaro working nice

Steps i followed (you need a windows installed first):

1 - Format pendrive usb
2 - Set GPT type partition (the same pendrive usb)
3 - Download the new version of manjaro
4 - Mount the iso in usb pendrive with Rufus (windows 10 application) in FAT32
5 - Boot with pendrive
6 - Select to install manjaro with the free drivers default
7 - Install using manual partition
8 - Set /boot/efi tag in the windows 10 boot partition (100MB size) (DO NOT FORMAT!!!)
9 - Set or create a new partition with 4GB to swap (set the swap tag)
10 - Set or create a new partition with the size that you want and select tag / (root)
11 - Set or create a new partition with the size that you want in HDD and select tag /home
12 - Click to install and wait for finish!
