Just what the title says, when I plug in a flash drive into a usb port, it disables my bluetooth and it doesn’t recognize that there is a flash drive plugged in. I can reboot the laptop and the usb works until I unplug the flash drive. This appears to disable the micro-sd slot as well. I am running Linux kernal 5.9.16-1
Hey, That is a weird problem, does the drive work on another machine?
A few things to try: use a lts kernel: MSM or mhwd-kernel
. (5.9 is no longer being updated)
For others to help some sort of error would be usefull. Try logging the error using sudo dmesg --follow
before plugging in the the drive and post the output here using these tips.
Generally when posting with these kinds of issues it is of great value to others that the system hardware is posted with it. The tips explain what is usually needed.
