After the latest stable update, there are times when I press the super key to go into overview and then it gets stuck. I click on any window and nothing happens. I try opening a new app, it opens but it still stays in overview. Pressing Esc does nothing. I have to pres Alt+F2 and restart Gnome to get everything back.

Also, sometimes there’s a bug when I press the Show Applications button. After it shows the applications I sometimes click the button again to close it, but it doesn’t close and then a visual bug appears in the top left.

I can press Esc to get back to normal.

Does anybody know of any fixes for these?

Yes, i’ve the same problem as the first one you describe after updating… I need to log out/ log in again.

Edit : Same problem here : Gnome 40.0.0 doesn't work very well - #3 by Hustn

@cyprien I found a solution for my problem. I posted it into the topic you had marked.
