Manjaro LVM install support surprises

I just installed XFCE manjaro 20.1 using the Installer.

I was surprised to find support to use an existing LVM and went for it.

The installer asked for an additional 12 Mib grub partition but would not create a partition smaller than 8GB.

Perhaps those comments would be better directed towards the Calamares team?

I went on to review my options regarding sizing and even moving the manjaro boot partition onto another LVM on another physical device.

system-config-lvm graphic package seemed a promising package. It does install but runs into a gnome error:

File “/usr/share/system-config-lvm/Properties_Renderer.py”, line 33, in
import gnome
ImportError: No module named gnome

I realize that package has not been updated since 2015.

I hope this is the right setting to bring up the issue. If there is such dependency can it be somehow mentioned in the package description?

Thanks

can you please returns
