Manjaro uses the GRUB bootloader for that exact reason
- to be able to boot any x86_64 based system
If the ISO does not boot fully it is likely caused by a flawed download.

Should you go down the road of writing the ISO to an optical device a DVD be sure to verify the ISO and be sure to verify the medium after the write.
Also be prepared that booting Manjaro from such medium is going to take a long, long time.
