Manjaro KDE wifi keeps disconnecting & very less range issue rtl8821ce

Hi all,

Installed Manjaro KDE today. The Wifi will only work when I am near to the modem. Else the range is very low and keeps disconnecting. NO Idea what is causing the issue.

do u have a dual system like windows? maybe your wifi antenna got looseely?

yes. I have windows 10 dual booted and the wifi is working perfectly fine. The issue persist in other linux distro as well. I did try installing zorin and the same issue came up :frowning:
No solution so far

I use RTL8822ce. All linux distro I try work well. Your situation is beyond my knowledge. Maybe Arch wiki bout rtl will help

For the record, I have the same problem with Manjaro KDE and Fedora 37 KDE. Gnome works fine, Windows works fine. But on KDE i’ll be in the middle of installing something with Pamac or DNF and the connection will just drop until I click on network manager and wiggle my mouse over the connection. Then the numbers spike back up. Never checked the logs.
