Manjaro-KDE 19.0-pre2 (testing branch)

Here comes the 2nd preview for Manjaro-KDE Kyria 19.0.
The ISO is a full build on current testing branch with all default applications pre-installed.

Main novelty for 19.0 are our new Breath2 themes, including

  • icon-theme
  • konsole colorscheme and yakuake skin
  • plasma5-themes (complete with dark themes and custom analog clock)
  • splash animation
  • sddm-theme and
  • wallpaper

Additionally we've added 'Visual Studio' schemas for kate which seem a bit better than the default.
If anybody has suggestions for better ones, do let me know!

As an alternative to the traditional 'Kickoff' Application Launcher we now also include plasma-simplemenu pre-installed.

Hi After I made the customization to manjaro when I pull the window on one side and the other I lag, I do not know why, did I load too much customization, (I do not think I made only some changes)

nice, very nice.

Add caffeine and try again? Seriously though, if you know what you changed then undo it step by step testing after each alteration and see what happens. Then you know what causes the lag and therefore what to avoid in the future.

wow, no poo emoji! bogdan and oberon must have done well then

Works great here. I just installed the system on my Asus netbook. No problems whatsoever, neither theme-wise nor otherwise.

The Breath2 terminal theme is darker but has no more contrast than the maia theme, I thought you wanted more contrast? So while it still looks nice, it's actually harder to see unfortunately.

Sofar I have only made the background darker (which has undoubtedly helped readability  ) and adjusted highlight to be matching better. There is certainly still room for improvement :sunglasses: - still work in progress anyway ...

Never been a fan of the breath-theme. Tried it now (breath-2) and I must say, it looks really good :+1:

I like the look for the simple menu but the categories being on the right and not on the left just feels wrong. If I remember rightly, the feren os dev patched it so that the categories appear on the left.
