Just a heads up if anybody is having an issue with Duplex Printing after the recent CUPS update and proper manual intervention afterwards.
I have a Brother HL-3170CDW Laser printer and the proper driver installed from the AUR. After the update I was not able to print in duplex mode as the option was greyed out. In http://localhost:631/printers/ (Print Administration) it would not allow me to set duplex as default option either. I tried a few things, unsuccessfully which included uninstall/reinstall CUPS and uninstall/reinstall the driver. Also tried a LibreOffice Fresh AppImage to check if it was my copy of LibreOffice. I had no luck there.
The fix was deleting the printer and adding the printer back and changing default to two-sided printing I hope this saves somebody from some unnecessary grief.
