I’m trying to install Manjaro off a USB, and it gets to the screen where it asks me to boot with open source or proprietary drivers. I’ve tried both options but after it starts all the services, my fans blast to max speed and the screen remains black. I have no idea what to do.
Take a look at the following link. Even if you are not dual booting pay close attention to the firmware checklist.
