so it’s been a few months since google chrome stopped working on streaming sites like Disney, hbo, netflix, hulu, etc…
pic for example but every single website shows their own error codes.
I’ve tried all the browsers available in Linux and the only one that works is microsoft edge lol.
Does anyone know a workaround for those streaming services to work with google chrome?
Either is due the DRM, or the user-agent … Investigate that.
Since i am using netflix on chromium and firefox…it shouldn’t not be the default user agent. Investigate the drm/wavedivine plugin. Should be installed automatically on first use, so maybe take one of the browsers and reinstall/reset completely. Don’t forget to delete the ~/.config/XXXX directory of the browser after uninstalling.
