Manjaro i3: Stuck on boot (sometimes)

Hey,
sometimes I need multiple tries, to get booted into my i3, its just stuck in a "lightened" blackscreen before lightDM. Especially it happens, when I havent touched my notebook for 1-2 days.
My System and my packages should be up-to-date.
The boot console doesnt show any errors so far.

I've the same issue, but mine is a AMD Ryzen 5 3500U . I had the issue with Kernel 5.4.14-2, but also with 5.5-RC.

Sometimes I also need to retry 3 o 4 times as well. Also, no log when issuing journalctl -xe -p3 -b-1

Are you using free or non-free drivers? I have free-drivers, maybe the solution is to use non-free drivers?

I checked the T495 wiki (3700U + Vega 10) and it shows an error for the 5.4 kernel and a temp fix. You can write a script to stop compositor before suspension and resume once you log in. It's been an issue for a bit, it's related to opengl/compositor suspension. So, when you resume from hibernation/sleep/closed lid you'll get a black screen. I believe 5.3 took care of the issue but I haven't tried 5.5 kernel yet.

Is this issue already a reported thing somewhere?
