Manjaro hangs and sometimes shows red and white checkered square

I am using the same GPU with nVidia legacy driver v 470

  Device-1: NVIDIA GK208B [GeForce GT 730] driver: nvidia v: 470.199.02
  Display: x11 server: X.Org v: 21.1.8 driver: X: loaded: nvidia gpu: nvidia
    resolution: 1920x1080~60Hz

And nVidia website confirms that this GPU has legacy driver support up to v470.xx

Or use Manjaro Settings Manager > Other Hardware GUI
