Manjaro Gnome is very slow and not responding

Hi, since yesterday my Manjaro is running very slow and freezes, or when I click it takes a few seconds to react. here is some info from my laptop:

Can you post top or htop ?

I just realized something that might be helpful! when I unplug my external monitor HDMI cable, the system acts normally and with an adequate speed. once I plug that cable in, it is again slow.
