Manjaro Gnome desktop home icon on the desktop

Hi everybody,

is there a way when I click on the home icon (on the desktop) that it open Files (nautilus) and not easytag software ? Each time I must do a right click on the icon and choose ‘show in Files’.

Hi!

Open a terminal window and run this command:

xdg-mime default org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop inode/directory

After that try to open your home directory using the desktop icon.

Hi, Bill. I’ve got a similar problem. When I clic the home icon in the dock it opens the home folder as always, but when I try the shortcut I made (Super+E) it opens easytag instead of the home folder.

Should I run that command too?
