Manjaro freezes when I launch apps on discrete AMD GPU on 5.11 kernel

After update to 5.11 kernel I can’t launch any application on discrete GPU (AMD Radeon HD 8750M), because system completely freezes, and then I have to turn off my laptop by pressing the power button. I even can’t check errors in logs, because logging stops with system freeze.

On 5.10 kernel everything works fine

More than likely regression. You’re using a very old GPU that is using the radeon driver.

Sticking to kernel 5.10 should be fine. Maybe kernel 5.12 will have some fixes in the future.
