Manjaro freezes randomly, when moving from typing to moving mouse

When the computer freezes, I get errors below. I have tried to search google, but can’t really find anything to fix this

I had a similar problem on XFCE. I turned off the mitigations and it never happened again. My CPU is just not fast enough with turned on mitigations… :man_shrugging:

But turning off mitgiations could be security hole.

@megavolt That didn’t fix the issue. My cpu is pretty fast, so the cpu speed isn’t the problem

Found the issue. I’m using prime/optimus drivers (video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-450xx-prime), and when I’m using nvidia mode, the freezes happen. All other modes (intel, hybrid) work without issues

P.S. I’m still on the 440 series because the 450 series still has a lot of issues. Try that too if you need video acceleration!
