Manjaro freezes, apps not responding, icons go white

Hello,

Since I installed Manjado xfce sometimes it just freezes. If I am at full-screen, I can not even exit the app. When I’m browsing on Firefox and try to open the start menu all icons go white and the apps freeze. The mouse can be still moved for a little while before also stopping.

I’m currently on linux515 and tried to go up and down the different kernel versions, but did nothing to prevent the error.

If I check the journalctl the last lines are of no use, and I cant see to find the culprit of the error

If I add the priority=3 flag i get

But the crash happens way later than that around 22:50… I have no idea what to look at or check, any advice is welcome. I’m not an expert on Manjaro but will try to provide any information that is needed.

Thanks in advance to whoever took the time to read it

share the output of inxi -Fazy. when did you install manjaro and did this start happening after a recent update?

Thnx for the reply.

It started as soon the install ocurred. I format and did a clean install a few times. I thought it was a disk error but after checking it seemed fine.

consider creating a swapfile. see Swap - Manjaro.

Will try it. Thanks for pointing a direction. Will create it and update the post if happens again (or doesn’t)

It didn’t work. I had it idle for a while but it crashed again. I managed to get a few pics with the mobile, maybe will light someone a bit
