Hi, I’ve been dealing with an annoying issue where everytime I leave a game (Alt-Tab out or quit) the entire OS locks up, audio continues to play but mouse movements stop and keyboard inputs are ignored.
If it is Steam games, do you have Shader Pre Caching enabled in Steam Settings?
Yes Shader Pre Caching is enabled, though Minecraft has been the main culprit recently.
Try to disable Shader Pre Caching, it is known to have issues currently, especially with Nvidia.
Will do, any advice for games outside of Steam?
Shader Pre-Caching is actually disabled by default for NVIDIA cards since the last Steam update, FYI.
It should but you can still enable and have the shaders downloading apparently.
