Manjaro freezing while watching video - gnome-shell

I’ve been trying Manjaro Gnome since 2 month ago, sadly It often freeze when I’m doing something heavy like copy a huge file (10GB), install ‘Matlab’, or ‘tar’ some huge folder.
After many attempts, the situation is better for the kernel 5.8.1 and using the modesetting driver. (It was 4.19 before). But today, when I’m trying to update the system while watching a video, the system freeze again, I’m quiet disappointed about that. Please anyone can help about that?

can you add this option
“intel_pstate=active”

check with

sudo cpupower frequency-info

That’s the output

analyzing CPU 0:
  driver: intel_pstate
CPUs which run at the same hardware frequency: 0
CPUs which need to have their frequency coordinated by software: 0
maximum transition latency: Cannot determine or is not supported.
  hardware limits: 400 MHz - 3.10 GHz
  available cpufreq governors: performance powersave
current policy: frequency should be within 400 MHz and 3.10 GHz.
The governor "powersave" may decide which speed to use
                  within this range.
current CPU frequency: Unable to call hardware
current CPU frequency: 1.20 GHz (asserted by call to kernel)
  boost state support:
    Supported: yes
    Active: yes

then goback with 5.4 or 4.19
you can keep many kernels on boot ,
only to choose with grub

I come from 4.19, 4.19 freeze more often that 5.8. But I’m going to try with 5.4

I’m in 5.4 and trying to copy a 1.9GB file make the system freeze again. Don’t understand why

mmmmmm
I’ve back to 5.8, copy the same file also make the system crash, but now it looks like gnome shell crash.

Try reducing the swapiness value to 5 or 10, It was happenning to me when I was copying large files. After reducing the swapiness value, now it is fine.
