I used many iso’s please check my posts.
It does not make the question superfluous
A virtual machine is not the best place for Cinnamon as it will warn about software rendering - but nevertheless - it boots fine.
So I am really thinking it is an issue with your system.
I say about virtual machine because you talking about your machine T550 I dont plan use cinnamon\gnome on vm.
I never say nothing about using cinnamon\kde\gnome\xfce on vm I dont know why you talking about this.
Because you mentioned it would not boot in your vm either
“On my virtual machine also …”
Now you get? why I wrote this? we dont talkign about vm problem is on my hardware pc.
No I don’t. I was referring to a bare metal installation - an installation I did only to check if there was a general issue with the ISO.
You reply with
Which lead me to verify if the issue could be reproduced in VirtualBox - again - it could not.
There is no issue with the ISO - hence it must be something with your system - an issue we have yet to discover the cause.
Checked all sha1 are correct.
That’s good - then the ISO are OK
Then use a Cinnamon 17 - boot, install and update.
And yes you would rather use a v18 but if your system has problems with those then use v17. You are the one with hands-on.
Problem is with my hardware pc

I tried manjaro 18 image kde, gnome, cinnamon.
After clean install always is problem with long booting 1-2 minutes and after random screen freeze some times after 1min sometimes after 10min.
I tried deepin 17 and everything is ok even after update to 18 and latest karnel and nvidia driver.
My actually system xfce this was also 17 and now is updated do 18 latest karnel and nvidia driver.
Yes looks like I need to do but you know I wanted localized problem.
Try comparing these two files between working and non working
If you find differences you could try implementing the differences one by on to locate where the issues manifests.
