Manjaro Crashes on the home screen while trying to install it

Hello,

I am currently trying to install Manjaro KDE on my desktop PC as my new daily driver. Everything seemed to work just fine, but once I reached the home screen for the first time my PC restarted after about 5 seconds. I tried both open source and proprietary drivers but neither worked. My last try to boot into TTY with “nomodeset” did not work. (I am unsure if it worked before (I tried so much))
I have tried to install Fedora Kinoite too which had a bunch of problems that I tired to solve with ChatGPT; here “nomodeset” did work and I was able to install a headless version of Fedora but I was never able to make it to the home screen for longer than a second. So I thought maybe it was a Fedora problem so I switched to Manjaro, which worked better, way less problems but still a crash on the home screen and no way to install the system.
I got two error messages: “call_irq_handler: X.55 No iqr handler” and “ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND”

My specs are:
CPU: AMD FX 8120 (overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 390
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology GA-78LMT-USB3
BIOS Version: Award Software International, Inc. F4, 19.10.2012 (SMBIOS-Version 2.4)

Do you think it is possible to install a new Linux Distro with KDE Desktop on my Hardware? Or is my system just too old by now?

Thank you very much for your help.

PS: I tried both Wayland and X11 both didn’t work.
