Manjaro boot broken

2 days back my browser got hanged and I restarted the laptop. After restarting the only showing HP logo. I tried all boot options but doesn’t work. I plugged Bootable Manjaro USB and started laptop. I have 2 different partition to store data. 1) 820 GB 2) 174 GB (Previous manjaro installed). Currently I only see and access the 820 GB partition. 174 GB Partitions showing Free space: 0 bytes. and don’t showing any data. I backup my 820 GB data to Portable HDD. But I don’t able to backup 174 GB data. I want to install Manjaro without losing 174 GB. Sharing the picture of system and the partitions. I hope I find some community help :slight_smile:

Both partitions are full, especially sda4, which has no air to breath. Maybe try mounting it read-only:

sudo mount --mkdir -o defaults,ro /dev/sdXY /mnt/sdXY

Possibly it has failures, so fsck is your friend.

Well then we have your problem. There are only hidden files in the home directory. No wonder, the file manager hides it by default. :man_shrugging: Toggle it with CRTL+H in the file manager.
