Manjaro 21.1.6 optimus manager problems

I am a beginner to linux, and I choose manjaro as my first distribution to try.

The problem is that I have a laptop with a rtx3060 card with optimus, and followed this guide to install optimus manager.

After I installed optimus-manager and optimus-manager-qt and rebooted, it showed a black screen. Fortunately, I was able to get into tty2 and remove optimus-manager, which solved the booting problem. However, I really want to turn my dgpu off when I don’t need it. I reinstalled it twice, but it did not work :frowning: Please help

This is my inxi output

You are not alone. I’ve got the same issue. Laptop with optimus technology (nvidia/Intel), optimus-manager installed with bbswitch activated in optimus-manager.conf. Each time I reboot, I’ve got a black screen. I try the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys, nothing happens. I need to cut off the computer with the power button. I use Manjaro 21.1.6 KDE version.

Note: No problem with shutdown.

I absolsutely agree!
I also tried changing the optimus manager switching to bbswitch, but that also didn’t work!

bbswitch works for me (the nvidia card is cut off) when I’m on my session but when I reboot the computer it is bugged. I don’t know why.
