After one of the recent updates I noticed that there are no additional (3D-ish) themes for task switcher. Have they been discontinued or what is the reason they are not present in Window Management settings?
They have not really been discontinued, but they needed to be rewritten in QML because of the changes to the kwin compositing code. They will however be added again later.
I cannot say when, though. I’m guessing it’ll be by the time 5.24 is released. Apparently there are already preliminary versions of the “flip switch” and “cover switch” effects in the current beta release, but there is no news yet on account of the “spinning cube” effect.

I see. Thank you for info. Mentioned switchers are awesome therefore i’m super glad they are not lost forever
