After a recent update on my pinephone the keyboard stopped showing up when I open a field that requires text input. I’m using the unstable branch and the plasma-git packages so I fully expect things like this to happen, and if you know a better place for me to report bugs please let me know!
We are aware of the issue and it should be fixed in the next update to kwin-git.
