Hello all!
I have Manjaro and LXQT running on an old laptop; Core 2 T5500 (soon T7400), Intel 945GM.
LXQT runs snappy, but has a couple glaring issues. When using an external monitor higher resolution than the internal laptop display, that isn’t set as primary, the start menu appears way higher than it should be on the external display. (Say, an external 1080p display while the internal display is 1200x800.)
As well, LXQT just bugs out certain application interfaces; the runtime Steam just won’t open certain menus outside of certain modes (Small, Large, Big Picture); which doesn’t occur on IceWM or GNOME when tested.
The laptop is using the mesa-amber branch (OpenGL 2.1 enabled); but i’ve used it with the mainstream Mesa drivers as well, and the same bugs occur. Updating LXQT from 2.1.0 to 2.2.0 didn’t help either. Any ideas why these are occuring?
